Up to 4 on lawns in front of hotels at Na'ama Bay on numerous days. Up to 7 in 'gardens' next to Sewage Ponds SE, Na'ama Bay. 15 in Movenpick Golf Hotel on 23 January. Occasional sightings elsewhere along coast

Up to 20 at Sewage Works NW, Na'ama Bay on 13, 18 and 20 January. Less susceptible to disturbance than previous species and remained on ponds throughout

4 at Ras Mohammed and 6 at Nabq on 14 and 17 January respectively. 25 at Ras Nasrani on 19 January were sheltering in hollows in the sand some distance from the sea together with 5 Kentish Plovers
